Songs for the Ghost Dance

I.

Dance, my brother, dance.
Dance, my brother, dance.
Dance with the buffalo, your brother.
Dance with the buffalo, your brother.
Dance with the dust devil, your brother.
Dance with the dust devil, your brother.
Dance, my brother, dance.
Dance, my brother, dance.

2.

Are you afraid of the coming snow?
As surely as new grass grows in its season,
the spring will return.
As surely as the dead are only sleeping.
Only the white man fears the coming of the snow.
They fear the winter.
They fear the spring to come.
